Obituary of Wilton Lloyd Gray

Wilton Lloyd Gray, of Pembroke Pines, Florida passed away on Tuesday, May 16th, 2017.  Born January 9, 1935 in Montego Bay, Jamaica, West Indies to his loving parents Doris Martin Gray and Charles Gray. Devoted husband of Linda Schlepp-Gray. Loving father to Deanna, Gary (Myriam Atkins) and Maxine Gray. Grandfather to his cats - Barney, Blue, Ari, Azi and Gabi. As a member of Holy Sacrament Episcopal Church’s Friends Reaching Friends Mission Organization, he found his passion for serving through mission trips to Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Belize.  As a member of Kiwanis, he was provided additional opportunities for local and international missions. As an active member of Cursillo, he had many opportunities to bring others to Christ. His hobbies included travel, ice fishing, football (Oakland Raiders), backyard farming, cruising, decorating for Christmas, dancing, dominoes and Friday morning dates with his wife at the beach. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or checks can made out to Holy Sacrament Episcopal Church with Friends Reaching Friends Mission Organization in the memo. Viewing is on Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 3 pm - 6:30 pm followed by Prayer Service from 6:30 pm - 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Sacrament Episcopal Church, 2801 North University Drive Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024. Burial will be following the service at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Gardens North, 3001 N 72nd St, Hollywood, Florida 33024.
