Obituary of Samuel Castor Garde

Born April 08 1972- San Andres Bukid Manila Philippines .

Parents are Leopoldo and Meredith Garde; both are alive and resides in the Phil but unable to travel now for medical reasons . His brothers are Lindon and Edwin and only sister Suzette the youngest from among them.

Family moved from Manila to Bacolod City ; Philippines where his ancestors are originally from.

Went to elem school at (ETCS) Education and  Training Center School and high school at (NOHS.)

Negros Occidental High School. 

Graduated his associate degree in Marine Engineer from John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation Bacolod City. 

He is a seaman by profession.

Married in 1999 to Ma Theresa Mendoza.  Migrated to the USA in early 2000’s

and  blessed with 1 daughter Samantha. 

He worked for the University of Miami for over 11 years before he started feeling the symptoms of the progressive weakening . 

From UM doctors to Jackson Hosp and Memorial Hosp; he never stopped seeking for specialists. But nothing worked . Progression of weakness and pain continued.

Finally his stay at Kindred Hospital has changed his outlook over the battle he is with. 

He is faced with the reality that no matter how strong a person is; when GOD’s plan prevails; no specialist can intervene.

He fought the good fight; his goal is up to his last breath which the healthcare family over at Kindred helped  make happen for him.

And us his family and all of Sam’s friends  made it happen for him. 

He passed away spiritually ready I may say; we and our prayers are all with him as he faced the most rough grind of all.

Up to this moment ; the overflowing of love for Sam is so immense  that wherever he maybe; surely he is HAPPY. 

HOME at LAST .

Eternal Rest for his Soul.
