Obituary of Carmelo Ayala, Jr.

Carmelo (“Melo”) Ayala Jr.  passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019.  He was 50 years old.  Born in Jersey City, NJ on December 14, 1968 to Carmelo & Betzaida ("Betty")  Ayala.   He married Jennifer Lopez on February 14, 1998 and had two wonderful children:  Carmelo Abraham (“Abe”) and his princess, Ana Maria Ayala.  He loved his children dearly; they were the loves of his life.

 He is survived by his parents, Carmelo & Betty Ayala, and his loving family:

- His wife, Jennifer & his children, Abe & Ana

- Big Sister & Big Bro:  Jackie & Frankie Gonzalez

- Sister & Husband:  Ruthie “Gigi” & David Dones

- Brother:  Isaac Ayala.

- Oldest Niece & Family:  Ruthy & David Rosa & their children:  Amaris, David III   & “baby in oven”

- Younger Nieces & Nephew:  Jacquie Gonzalez, Kalina & Aaron Dones

 Melo was a hard worker.  He was kind, had a great sense of humor & played the guitar.  To know him ... was to love him.
