Antonica Marie Orima was born in Aux Cayes, Haiti . She raised a family of 7 children. Yves, Jocelyne, Margaly, Yvon, Laurent, Junior, and Emmanuel along with her nephews Jean Joseph and Rony Cherestal. She also raised many children over the years that were not of any relation to her , but that didn’t matter . Her open heart and love of God would not allow her to turn any child in need away. She lived and raised a family in Haiti until 1997 when she moved to Hollywood, Fl. To help raise her grandchildren. Over the years she loved on and was loved by 6 grandchildren and one great grandchild. We kept her busy... if she wasn’t cooking or cleaning something, we were on family vacation, at the beach, our friends just hanging out, parties/gatherings and she was always there with a smile on her face.

 She was a strong woman in her faith and spent hours upon hours praying for her family. Her family remembers her most for her smile, her laugh and her stubborn but generous heart. We will forever carry the lessons and morals she instilled in us without knowing, and are beyond honored and proud to be of her. Antonica is survived by her son: Yvon Orima, Daughter: Margaly Orima, Grandchildren: Jasmine Senatus,Jessica Laporte,Megan Orima,Michael Orima, Brandon Orima, and Devon Orima. Great-Granddaughter: Janellie Lafrance. Sister: Elina Cherestal Nephew: Jean-Robert Joseph, Nephew: Rony Cherestal, Great-Niece: Jennifer Joseph, and Great-Nephew: Ryan.
