WONG
William Daniel 45 of Pembroke Pines, Florida departed this Life October 17, 2019. Born May 4, 1974 in Smithtown, New York. In Repose Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 2:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M. Arrangements by Joseph A. Scarano Pines Memorial Chapel 9000 Pines Boulevard, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024. Our thoughts and prayers goes out to the family.
Mr. William “Billy” Wong, son of the late Ruben S. Wong and Rosemary U. Wong was born May 4, 1974 in Islip New York. He attended the public schools of NYC and Long Island and later joined the U.S. Marine Corps in June of 1995 and served with the 6th Communications Battalion based in Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn NY until June 2003. At an early age Billy brought affection, brotherhood, and friendship to all those around him. He lead by example in all that he did and professed a deep commitment to his faith in mankind.
He was deeply dedicated and in love with Nikia Garcia whom he first met in 1998 and remained deeply dedicated to that love in the raising of their daughter Alyssa Leanne Garcia. Nikia preceded him in death in 2004.
As a result of his generous spirit and pleasant personality, he was loved by many. His life was as beautiful as the daughter that he loved so well, and his influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew him. He departed this life Thursday, October 17, 2019 at home in Pembroke Pines. He was preceded in death by his beloved father Ruben in 1981, his beloved mother Rosemary in 1990, his love Nikia in 2004, and his beloved mother-in-law Yolanda Garcia in 2011.
His beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his child, his nieces and nephews, and his brothers and sisters: Alyssa Leanna Garcia of Pembroke Pines, FL; his nieces and nephews, Gabriela, Anisa, and Ayden Garcia, of Coral Springs, FL, (their grandfather Fidel Garcia of Pembroke Pines), Ronan and Blake Wong of Cary, IL, Lucia and Christina Goeller of Long Beach, NY, Mei Ling Monje and James Wong of Los Angeles, CA, Leanna Wong of Bothel, WA; his brothers and sisters, Ruben A. Wong of Los Angeles, CA, Veronica Pineda-Liquidano of Guatemala City, Guatemalan, Lorena Wong Espell of Amsterdam, Luis E. Wong of Tampa, FL, Rosa Maria Goeller of Long Beach, NY, Peter James Cohen of Greater New York, Johnnie K Wong of Crystal Lake, IL and a host of devoted and deeply loved cousins, friends, and co-workers.
