Obituary of Yvonne G. Lloyd

LLOYD Yvonne G. The world lost a beautiful soul on Wednesday, December 25 th 2019, when Yvonne Goodman Lloyd passed away at Brookshire Residences and Rehabilitation Center in Brookshire , TX. Yvonne was born August 9, 1942 and grew up with her two brothers, James and the late Tyrone on Viola Street in Wilson North Carolina. She graduated in June of 1960 from Charles Darden H high school of Wilson NC. Soon after graduation , Yvonne moved to Montclair NJ With her Aunt Ann and attended keypunch school in NY City. Throughout Yvonne‘s career she works for several companies eventually retiring from 3M in Flemington, NJ. After the death of her husband Yvonne spent time in Africa experiencing life outside the country for the first time as an US Diplomat. Then moved to Texas where she would take walks for hours in the Texas heat and say it kept her young. She was a dedicated wife, mother and friend. She is survived by children Victor, Vincent and Monique brother James, grandchildren, LeSean, Tevon, Alexander, Aiden and Zeveon, sister-in-law’s Anita Goodman, Cécile Lloyd and Gloria Henry and brother-in-law, Albert Lloyd, two aunts Dorothy Dunning and Ann King cousin, Sedalia Bridgers and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Yvonne, love to cook and amateur writer. She spent a great deal of her free time writing notes and pomes in her diary about the ones she loved. As we celebrate her life Yvonne will dearly be missed by family and friends. In Repose Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. Burial Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 1:30 P.M.
