Obituary of Elisabeta Ana Maria Marton

Elisabeta Ana Maria Marton January 24, 1986 - January 22, 2020 She was born in Arad Romania, on January 24, 1986 where she attended elementary and middle school. Her friends and family called her Betti. She was athletic, an avid swimmer and practiced Karate. As a young teenager, she moved to the United States in 1999 at the age of 13 years. She did not speak English when she arrived but within a year, she was already speaking English and Spanish. She attended Cooper City High School and she liked to play soccer and backgammon. She was selected for Military school with very good scores. Betti lived mostly with her family. She worked in places where she was appreciated. She was friendly with people, very caring and a good host, always ready to help with generosity. She was a great soul who neglected herself in order to see others happy. She made sure nobody was thirsty, hungry, or cold. She would give the clothes off her back to those who needed them. Literally, she was like this. She went to Romania for months to assist and help her grandmother Victoria, who was sick and lived alone. While she was there, she also helped her grandfather Aurel who was paralyzed and unable to help himself. She was there when he passed away and she helped with the funeral arrangements. Betti loved to travel. She often traveled to Romania, and visited Hungary, and went on a long road trip across the United States.
