Obituary of Mariano Zamora Jao

Mariano Zamora Jao passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family on May 8, 2020. He fought a challenging up and down battle with brain cancer for almost 2 years. Born on January 17, 1958; Mariano was a longtime South Florida resident and worked as a Nurse at Palm Springs General Hospital in Hialeah for 33 strong years. He was a proud father of his two children, Justin and Charmaine who have now both graduated as nurses and following in his footsteps. He was married to his loving wife Cynthia of 22 years who is also a nurse that has recently retired. He was a very simple man who never put himself first and only wanted to see his family happy and healthy. Mariano's favorite hobbies included planting all types of fruits and vegetables, reading, electronics, and financing. The family would like to thank all those that took care of him such as UM/JMH and Vitas Healthcare for their compassionate services. Many thanks also goes out to friends and family that have and continue to pray for him during these chaotic times especially the holy trinity prayer group.
