Obituary of Gloria Margaret Mitchell

Gloria Margret Mitchell was born in Kingston Jamaica on April 9th, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Bernard Mitchell and Amy Parkinson Mitchell. She had seven siblings: Samuel, Bertie, George, Vincent, Manuel, Sybil and Veronica. Gloria migrated to the United States in 1982, first living in Philadelphia, PA and then later relocating to South Florida. She was a home health aid nurse and an active member of her church where she received many accolades and rewards for her faithful service. Gloria is survived by her children: Orville, Ellerton, Carl, Carlene, and Dawn, grandchildren: Shera, Sean, Alecia, Edward, Terehas, Nicholas, Sheree, Danielle, Terrell, Marlon, Sharifa, Abby, Devontae, Aaron and Ayinde, great grandchildren: Iman, Kymani, Skylar, Kaylani, Katherine, Jayla, Jayden, Sage, Zaina and Ava, she is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and other relatives and friends. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother and a kind and generous soul. She departed her earthly life on July 6th, 2020. She will be dearly missed, until we meet again.
