Obituary of Earline L. Colson

Earline Colson, 90, a long time resident of Miami entered eternal rest on August 7, 2020 after a brief illness. She retired from the position of manager of Bras and Girdles at downtown Burdine’s (now Macy’s Inc.) Department Store on Flagler Street. While at Burdine’s she was also a bra fitter certified by the American Cancer Society. Her final years were spent at Pinecrest Rehabilitation Center in North Miami, FL. In keeping with her wishes, immediate family and close friends will gather for a private ceremony, followed by having her cremains scattered over the Atlantic Ocean. She is survived by her daughter, Antonia Frazier, preceded in death by son Carlton Colson, granddaughters Shirea (Ahmarye) and Carlesia (Legend), preceded by sister Mable White (Giselle and James, Jr.), cousins Mable Funches, Ann Boyd, and Leola Farley, in-laws: Colsons, Rusleys, Greens, Lundys, Copelands, and Williams, and a host of other relatives, friends, neighbors, and customers.
