LEONG
Maria J. Leong, 88, born on October 9, 1928 in Recife, Brazil, passed away on January 30, 2017 in Hollywood, Florida. Beloved Mother to Carlos, George (Annie), Peter (Olga), Rita and James. Grandmother to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Maria was last of 2 siblings. She moved from Brazil to Brooklyn, New York. She liked to cook and garden. She was kind-hearted, loved her children. Dedicated to her family and always prayed for her family. Services will take place on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Joseph A. Scarano Presidential Circle Memorial Chapel, 4351 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, Florida 33021. Prayer Service will start at 12 P.M. at Joseph A. Scarano Presidential Circle Memorial Chapel and burial will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery West.
