Vincent Samuel 89 of Fort Lauderdale, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 13th at home surrounded by his loving family. Vincent will be remembered for his love of family, kind and gentle spirit, and his genuine compassion for others.
Vincent was born in Newark, New Jersey on October 18, 1931. He attended Hillside High School, where he graduated in 1949. Vincent served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. On November 23, 1957, Vincent married the love of his life Marie Carasia Rispoli. They settled in Hillside, New Jersey where they raised their two children, Vincent Jr. and Marcy. Vincent then worked as a firefighter for the Hillside Fire Dept as well as a teamster Local 701 for Lombard Brothers in Elizabeth, NJ, until his retirement in 1987. Vincent spent his retired years alongside his wife, Marie, in Atlantic Highlands, NJ before moving to Fort Lauderdale in 2016.
Vincent was a true family man, and his pride and joy were his children and grandchildren. There was never a practice or game where he wasn't front row in the stands beaming with pride. When he was not on the sidelines he could be found at eiher Victory Park playground or Monmouth Park Race track with the kids in tow.
Vincent is survived by his wife, Marie of Fort Lauderdale, FL and two children Vincernt, Jr. and Deborah Rispoli, Fort Lauderdale,FL and Michael and Marcy Rispoli Borneo, Monmouth Beach, NJ;3 grandchildren, Remy Jo, Michaela, and Lucas; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, and his loyal Shih Tzu Sonny. Vincent is predeceased by his parents, William and Lillian Delmont Rispoli and his brother Samuel Rispoli.
A private service will be held for the immediate family. Please keep the Rispoli family in your prayers. The Joseph A. Scarano Presidential Circle Memorial Chapel is Honored to assist the Rispoli family with the arrangements.
