Obituary of Veronica Barrett

Veronica Barrett was born in St. James, Jamaica West Indies to her parents Percival & Elfreda Allen. She married Alvin Barrett, the deceased father of her 7 children. She is survived by 2 of her 5 siblings, her 7 children, 23 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 10 great, great grandchildren. Her children are Monica Barrett Dorsainvil, Leroy Barrett and his wife Celina, Orville Barrett and his wife Josephine, Chelseta Barrett Smith, Rekyll Barrett and his wife Jennifer, Derven Barrett and his wife Charmaine, and Carla Baugh and her husband Winston. Veronica was lovingly called “Mama” not only by her children and grandchildren, but also many others whom she encountered and showered with love. Mama was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. On June 1st, 1964, she made that dedication to serving Jehovah God whom she loved very much, and has been a faithful, loyal servant of Jehovah up to her last breath. She enjoyed her ministry, spending time with her family, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and her brothers and sisters in the faith. Veronica Barrett was a strong, beautiful, peaceful, loyal, warm, hard working, loving, and very loved human being. The epitome of class!
