Obituary of Alfonso E. Salamanca

SALAMANCA Alfonso E. 88 departed this life June 16, 2021. Born March 26, 1933 in Sogamoso, Boyaca, Colombia. Beloved husband of Graciela for 60 years. Loving father of Olga, Omar "Angela," and Lee. Beloved by his cousins Myriam Adiela, Lillian Chaparro and The Triana family. Adored grandfather of Mateo and Simon. Alfonso’s work ethic in the wood carving industry was admirable. Mentally strong, he ignored health issues so that he could fulfill his duty as a family man. His motive in Life was to provide for his family because for him, his wife and children were the most important people in his life. He was disciplined, and responsible in all aspects of his life. After retirement, he moved to Florida and took on a new role, as a loving grandfather. He cared and provided for them in all aspects. To him, they could do no wrong, for his love for them was pure and genuine. In Repose Sunday, June 20, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Funeral Mass Monday, June 21, 2021 at 10:00 A.M.
