Ralph A. Velocci, 72 of Jupiter passed away Thursday July 15, 2021, in Jupiter, Florida. Ralph was born July 3, 1949, in Queens, NY his parents, Rocco & Mariana Velocci migrated from Italy to the US. Ralph was taught the family Waste business, from his father, early in his childhood. He has always made it his mission to continue what he learned and loved to do.
Ralph was a Father, Grandfather, Dear Friend, Innovator, Savvy Businessman, Loyal, Witty, Relentless, Mentor and a Waste Industry icon. Spending most of his life in South Florida he created dozens of businesses and built strong relationships. He joined with Waste Pro in 2009 directing Commercial Sales and all things related to Landfill & Recycling. Ralph was the Senior VP and a Board of Directors member upon his passing.
Ralph loved his trips to his family hometown in Frosinone, Italy and was fluent in Italian. He cherished his daughters and two grandsons. His astounding work ethic enabled him to create a legacy beyond measure. To say he will be missed would be an understatement. He was respected and loved. He was a tough businessman and was compassionate with a big heart. When he entered a room, he carried a strong presence and an engaging smile. When he spoke it was with knowledge and authority.
Ralph was a good man and will be in all our hearts forever.
Ralph is survived by his daughters Vanessa & Jaime, two grandsons Cole & Christopher, three siblings Marie Tropiano, Rocco Velocci & Johnny Velocci and he was a cherished uncle to several nieces and nephews.
