Helen Favre Rector, 95 of Pembroke Pines passed away Wednesday November 17, 2021 in Pembroke Pines, Florida and went to be with her Lord.
Born Helen Hanora Maloney on July 27, 1926 in Rye, NY to her loving parents Mary Brown Maloney and Joseph Peter Maloney. She grew up at 23 Locust Lane, Rye, NY where she graduated from Rye High School. She was the last living of 7 siblings Sarah Maloney Spalding, Peter, Joseph, James, Thomas Maloney and Mary Maloney Kelly.
Beloved wife of the late Robert Lee Favre, Sr. of Fort Montgomery, NY and the late Joseph P Rector of Fort Myers, FL.
Loving mother of the late Susan Favre Kovarik "the late Frank" and the late Robert Lee Favre,Jr.
She is survived by her loving daughters Kathleen "Casi" Favre of Pembroke Pines, FL, Barbara Favre Manire, husband Allan Manire of Greenville, SC. and a dear friend Cindy Novonty was like a daughter and a birthday buddy to Helen. Cherished Grandmother of Brenna Kovarik Planas (Sam), Barbara Joy Manire Loyack (John), Cyndi Manire Kimbrell (Joe), Heather Manire Moyer (Nick), Daniel Manire, Dawn Kovarik Ordonez and John Kovarik. She was loving called Great Grandma Helen by her many great grandchildren and Aunt Helen to many nieces and nephews.
Helen created wonderful memories for her children while living in the Bahamas, West Pakistan and Puerto Rico and lifelong friends in many states across the USA.
Funeral Mass will be held in honor at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at St. Maximilian Catholic Church, 701 North Hiatus Road, Pembroke Pines, Florida, burial to follow at Lauderdale Memorial Park Cemetery, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The family will host a Celebration of Life in Helen's memory after the new year.
