Obituary of Elisina I. Ortega

Elisina Isabel Ortega passed away on 9-21-22 in Broward County Florida due to unforeseen medical complications. She was born in Baranoa, Colombia on 1-11-1936 to parents Ana Fabiola Sundheim and Marco Ortega. She was the second eldest of 8 children. Grew up with her siblings and parents. She came to the United States of America to build better opportunities for herself and her family. In 1977 she had a daughter who became her whole world. Elisina was an exceptional mother who raised her daughter by herself. She worked as a daycare teacher and enjoyed her job. Loved working with kids and was always making a difference in each person’s life. She was a devoted person who was very giving. Loved to make jokes and make people laugh. Loved to have her coffee and have her sweets. She was a humble individual who loved living life to the fullest. She touched many peoples lives and to know her was, to love her. She was a genuine person with a huge heart. She was the most devoted mother and grandmother. Elisina is survived by her daughter Mireya, her grandson Jayce, son in law Ryan, Brothers, sisters, nephews, and nieces. Her whole family mourns her loss but remembers her life with wonderful warm memories. A life well lived, a life of much courage, and a life that offered so much love to all she knew. In Repose Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. She will be missed dearly and will forever be in our hearts. Please keep the Ortega family in your prayers. The Joseph A.
