Obituary of Jeanne Loretta Gleixner
Please share a memory of Jeanne to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
On November 21,2022 Jeanne Loretta Gleixner got her wings and went to fly with the angels.
She was 75 years old, after a long enduring battle with her lungs, head and stomach which made
her heart give out.
Jeanne was born in Manhattan, New York on December 29,1946 by her mother Eileene Glynn
and father Henry Gleixner. She had one biological sister Eileene and three halve brothers Peter,
Bobby and Eric. Jeanne had a hard knock life living back and forth from her separated parents
until the state stepped in at a very young age and put both sibling sisters in a nun school until the
age of 18 years old. Jeanne did get a championship trophy in basketball during her time at the
school.
Jeanne was a very proud exceptional mother of three children. Many people considered her to be
their surrogate mother too. Jeanne would do everything she could for her own children and every
child that crossed her path to keep them safe, healthy and happy. Jeanne cared deeply for her
family and neighbors. She did this not out of obligation but because of who she was. Jeanne was
always the first to offer help, an ear to listen, write a poem, draw you a beautiful inspiring
picture, crochet you a blanket, make you a cup of tea or make you some food. Jeanne was always
giving of herself and not receiving anything in return. Jeanne loved to dance and she loved her
sweets. (Chuckles, Good & Plenty’s, Root Beer Barrels…so many) She also loved to garden. Her
joy for life, hope and light spirit kept her pushing to live thru all her pain. Jeanne did not hold
back on her opinion and she did not sugar coat her words. She was a truthful and genuine person.
Jeanne was predeceased by her sister of 74 years old Eileene Gleixner in 2020, her grandsons
Kevin Bauduin and Patrick Bauduin.
Jeanne is survived by her biological children Rita, Christine and Eric and all her grandkids
survived Casey, Joseph, Ariel, Emily, Jenna, John, Alicia, Brad, Constance, Veronica, Charlie,
Thomas, Claira, Gabby & Pheebie.
We would like to give a big hug and kiss and say thank you to all the dear people, nurses, doctors
and priests that helped mom.
There will be plans for a mass memorial service and a celebration of life ceremony to follow at a
future date.
If you would like to donate to a charity any childhood cancer research in memory of her
grandson Kevin (who passed at 14 years old- bone cancer), Jeanne would of wanted that.
The Joseph A. Scarano Pines Memorial Chapel is honored to assist the Gleixner family with the arrangements. 954-438-8222
