Obituary of Mary Bassignana Maria Schreiber

BASSIGNANA/SCHREIBER The beautiful Mary Bassignana - Scheiber known to some as Maria Maracas passed on to the Lord on November 29, 2022 in Orange City, Florida at 90 years young. Funeral services will be held at Scarano’s Funeral Home in Pembroke Pines, Florida on Wednesday, December 7th and Thursday, December 8th from 2pm-4pm & 6pm-8pm at the Pines Memorial Chapel. A mass service will be held at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church 11:00 A.M. with the burial procession to follow. Mary was born in Brooklyn, New York to Pedro Echeandia and Dolores Font on March 5, 1932. Mary grew to embrace her love for music though dancing, singing, playing the piano, and performing with her maracas throughout the years. Her love for music never over shined her commitment to God and devotion to the church community at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church. Mary chose to participate by showcasing her natural talents in choir performances and during community events at Century Village. Mary was blessed with a large family, giving birth to four daughters that have continued to grow their legacy. The family has flourished from 4 daughters to now 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren thriving in Arizona, Texas , Florida, and New York. In lieu of flowers or gifts the family is asking for offerings to be sent to St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church. The family would like to extend their gratitude to those who helped support Mary over the years, and for those who chose to continue to support her church. Remember Mary by her striking beauty, her poise, and her unwavering devotion to God during reflection of her memory. Please keep the Bassignana family in your prayers. The Joseph A.
