Obituary of Paul A. Levy

Paul Anthony Levy was born July 10th, 1937 in Kingston, Jamaica the son of Dudley and Ruby Levy. Paul attended Monroe College in Jamaica and left for the UK to further his education at The London School of Economics where he met his soulmate and wife Guylaine. Upon his return to Jamaica, he joined the family business Levy Brothers Limited until 1973 when along with his wife Guylaine they purchased and operated Manor Park Pharmacy. In 1978 they migrated to the United States and settled in Key West, Fl where they owned Conns Camera and Cards and Photosonics. In 1994 they moved to Pembroke Pines where Paul joined Wincorp as Managing Director until his retirement in 2007. Paul was active in all sports and loved playing golf with his son Steven in his adult years. He followed his daughter Solange’s writing career intently and eagerly awaited her next novel. He devoted his life to supporting organizations that allowed his Special Needs son Andre to thrive. To his wife’s delight he became a confirmed Roman Catholic. Paul is survived by his wife Guylaine (Gigi) with whom he shared a loving relationship for 62 years and 3 children Andre, Steven (Kathy) and Solange, grandchildren Kyle Levy and his fiancé Morgan, Chelsi and her husband Felipe Vial and Makenna Levy, beloved brother Desmond, nephew David, niece Lorraine and many cousins and many good friends in Jamaica, Key West, England, Canada. Memorial donations may be made to Saint Maximilian Kobe Catholic Church of Pembroke Pines.
