Obituary of Pauline M. Salois

SALOIS Pauline Marie Salois, 83, of Pembroke Pines, Florida passed away on February 17, 2023 at her home surrounded by family and friends. Funeral service will be held at Saint Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church on February 28, 2023 at 11am. Visitation will be held at Joseph A. Scarano Funeral Home in Pembroke Pines on February 27th from 2pm to 8pm. Pauline Marie Zaloom was born February 12, 1940 in Patterson, New Jersey to John and Mary Zaloom. In 1958 she graduated from Miami Jackson High School and continued her education earning a BA in Education from Florida Atlantic University. Dedicated to her service as a teacher Pauline worked for many years at Saint Bernadette Catholic School and other schools for the archdiocese. On August 6, 1966 Pauline married her one and only Raymond Peter Salois. She enjoyed playing tennis with her sister Adriene, writing poetry, and arts and crafts but most of all Pauline enjoyed traveling in the RV with Ray. She was involved in many church ministries and had great passion for her work with Respect Life. Pauline is survived by her son John P. Salois of Pembroke Pines, FL, her son Mark Salois and daughter-in-law Patricia from Sunrise, FL, as well as her sister Adriene Kern of Parkland, FL, her brother Basil Zaloom of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and brother Victor Zaloom from Beaumont, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond P. Salois and her parents John and Mary Zaloom. Memorial donations may be made to the Archdiocese of Miami Respect Life Ministry. In Repose Monday, February 27, 2023 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:30 P.M. Funeral Mass Tuesday, February 28, 2023 St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church.
