Obituary of Pedro Jose Rodriguez Capriata

RODRIGUEZ CAPRIATA Pedro Jose 80 departed this Life February 19, 2023. Pedro J. Rodriguez, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and uncle, passed away on Sunday, February 19th, 2023. He was 80 years old. Pedro was born on April 17th, 1942, in Barrancas, Monagas State, Venezuela, to parents Pedro and Candida Rodriguez. He grew up in Venezuela, where he attended school and developed a love for music and arts. Pedro went on to attend the University of Toledo in Ohio, where he obtained a degree in electrical engineering and mathematics. He also obtained an MBA from Eastern Michigan University and a PhD in Economics at Columbia University. In January 1983, Pedro met his future wife, Euris, and the two were married three years later where Over the next few decades, Pedro rose through the ranks of Petroleos de Venezuela, eventually retiring as a senior executive in 2012. Pedro will be remembered for his kind and generous spirit, his music, his art, his sense of humor and his unwavering love for his family. He is survived by his wife, Euris, their children, Candi, Adriana, Pedro, and Enrique, their grandchildren, as well as his beloved nephews and nieces. Pedro will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will be cherished forever. In Repose Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Prayer Service at 6:00 P.M.
