Wanda Ivette Cruz Date of birth February 1, 1965 Date of death March 19, 2023 Age when they died 58 Funeral Services will be held at Joseph A Scarano Pines Memorial Chapal 9000 Pines Boulevard, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024 Born in Bronx, New York Attended and graduated from Miami Carol City Senior High School 1983 Worked for Healthy Partners/Cano for 18 years as the Front reception coordinator. Survived by her Children Melissa and Giovanni Cruz, Christopher and Samantha Clarke, her grand children Jovani, Giovanni Jr, Isabella, Sophia, Jason Jr, her sisters Carmen Ocasio Maury and Denise Gonzalez, Daughter in law Rokisha Cruz, Son in law Jason Alicea and mother Carmen Ocasio. She was preceded in death by her father Jose DJ Ocasio and fiancé Christopher Clarke Wanda was a beautiful person who spread joy and happiness wherever she went. Always smiling and always dancing. She loved to experience new places, family gathering and good food. Wanda loved her children Melissa, Giovanni, Christopher and Samantha and spending as much time with them as possible. Wanda’s pride and joy were her grandchildren Jovani and watching him play baseball, watching Bella dance, Sophia who she wanted to see her play softball but unfortunately her health prevented, the visits from Giovanni at home and Jason the youngest who provided a much needed light in her life with his smiles and calling her name LELA. Wanda loved her sisters, Carmen Denise, Norma, Michelle , Jackie and her brother Arturo. It was always fun and laughter when she was with them. Wanda loved her parents and all of her extended family and friends. Wanda fought tough for 5 years battling with cancer. Her fight is now over and she is resting peacefully. Wanda’s leaving will leave a big gap in the hearts of all that new her and will be sorely missed. Fly peacefully Butterfly.
