Laurie Ann Woodworth Di Orio passed away on May 12th 2023 at the age of 55, at her home in Pembroke Pines.
Funeral service will be held at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church on May 20th at 1:00 pm with Father Paul officiating. Burial will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens North, 3001 N 72nd Ave, Hollywood, FL 33024. Visitation will be held at Joseph A. Scarano Pines Memorial Chapel on May 18th and May 19th from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm. Joseph A. Scarano Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.
Laurie Ann Woodworth Di Orio was born in Queens, New York to Evelyn Daly and Donald Woodworth on March 6th, 1968. She grew up in Queens Village, New York alongside her older brother and sister and moved to Hollywood, Florida as a teenager. She graduated from McArthur High School and began her college career to become a dental assistant. She worked for many offices through the years showcasing her talents in general dentistry, periodontics, and oral surgery. Although she truly loved her job, her passion was raising her three children. Laurie became a mother to her first child in 1996 with her husband, Rich. Together, they proceeded to raise three beautiful children who are now young adults. Laurie’s family and friends credited her often for her sincere dedication to her family. Laurie was a true and loyal friend who was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who was in need. Laurie also was a dedicated member of the Catholic Church, serving as a religious educator for numerous years.
Laurie is survived by her husband Rich, son Ricky, and daughters Lauren and Katelyn of Pembroke Pines. She is preceded in death by her parents Evelyn and Donald.
