Elaine was one of my dearest Alpha Gam sisters and mentor. From the very beginning, she pushed me to get involved and inspired me to stay involved in both Alpha Gam and Panhellenic. She will be missed so much.

Elaine, I will miss our hours long phone chats about anything and everything; hearing about days gone by in Cincinnati or here in FL; planning events together for Panhellenic; our lunch outings and our trips together to University fundraisers in Palm Beach. Who’s going to steal my fries and give me onion rings? Or share a glass of Riesling with me? I know you are at rest and it is much deserved after such a long life well-lived; but you will be greatly missed. I love you always, Natalie

I met Elaine over 30 years ago through Ernie Wintter (who later became my husband.) Ernie spoke of Elaine's indispensable role in his funeral home and law practice and as someone he considered family. She was reliable and always got the job done. Elaine and I met on a professional level which developed over the years into a friendship. After Ernie passed away, she became a support system. When my mother passed away, she was there to help me with funeral arrangements. We enjoyed lunches together and shared a love for everything Snoopy and the Peanuts gang. I have fun memories of visiting the Peanuts exhibition here in Hollywood and our Snoopy movie date. Elaine was always thoughtful and would add to my Snoopy figurine and Christmas ornament collection. Over the years, Elaine mentioned her nieces to me, and I would like to offer my sincere condolences for their loss. Elaine is in my thoughts during this difficult time, and I will forever remember her as a kind and considerate friend. Warm regards, Lisa Wintter

Elaine will be missed so much by the Fort Lauderdale Alumnae Panhellenic Chapter. She has been the heart and sole of our organization. She spent hours on the phone, notifying us of the upcoming meetings. She was an outstanding officer and supported our scholarship luncheon and fashion show. She was the first recipient of our Lifetime Achievement Award. Rest In Peace, Elaine.
