I met Elaine over 30 years ago through Ernie Wintter (who later became my husband.) Ernie spoke of Elaine's indispensable role in his funeral home and law practice and as someone he considered family. She was reliable and always got the job done. Elaine and I met on a professional level which developed over the years into a friendship. After Ernie passed away, she became a support system. When my mother passed away, she was there to help me with funeral arrangements. We enjoyed lunches together and shared a love for everything Snoopy and the Peanuts gang. I have fun memories of visiting the Peanuts exhibition here in Hollywood and our Snoopy movie date. Elaine was always thoughtful and would add to my Snoopy figurine and Christmas ornament collection.
Over the years, Elaine mentioned her nieces to me, and I would like to offer my sincere condolences for their loss. Elaine is in my thoughts during this difficult time, and I will forever remember her as a kind and considerate friend.
Warm regards,
Lisa Wintter
