Obituary of Mildred Raffo

My Mother, Mildred was a woman who loved life. She would say, "I just wanted to have a good time in life", and that is exactly how she lived. She was married to my father for 65 years, and I remember him saying how beautiful she was and still is. They held hands when they walked and did everything together. They traveled, danced, and always had fun. Mildred Dorothy Raffo, the Mother of three, two boys and one girl, grandmother to four, six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. My Aunt Helen, her little sister and she had a lifelong loving relationship. My Aunt was devoted to my Mother, and my Mother loved her dearly. They were more than sisters, they were best friends. "BFF" Coming to Florida gave us a special time together. My Mom, Aunt Helen and I, loved going to Hollywood Beach, shopping at the mall, eating out and enjoying our time together. I am grateful for those precious memories. Everyone who came in contact with her was amazed at her vitality and quick wit. "A straight shooter, who never held back from telling the truth".
