Obituary of Stanley J. Kwitowski

Stanley J. Kwitowski, 97, of Hollywood, FL, formerly of Glassport, PA died Monday July 29, 2024. He is survived by sons Michael and David (Laura) Kwitowski, daughter Sharon (Scott) Mowry, grandchildren Samantha Mowry and Matthew Kwitowski, also in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends, and loving caretakers. He was preceded in death by the love of his life of 70 years, Mary Kwitowski, parents Maxmilian and Louise Kwitowski, and siblings, Frank Kwitowski, Rita Watko, Sister Anne, and Sister Columba. Stanley was a WWII veteran, serving his country proudly as a member of the US Navy. He had a long and distinguished career working for an engineering department at Westinghouse in a series of challenging positions. He was an avid fisherman and golfer and enjoyed taking long walks around town. Stanley was a member of Saint Bernadette Catholic Church in Hollywood, Florida. Above all, Stanley was a man of tremendous faith and a dedicated, generous, and loving family man. Stanley will be put to eternal rest with a viewing held on Tuesday August 27 from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. at Joseph A. Scarano Pines Memorial Chapel at 9000 Pines Blvd, Pembroke Pines, FL followed by a mass at 11:00 at Saint Bernadette Catholic Church. A burial will follow at the South Florida VA National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL.
