Obituary of Connie M. Ferrigno

Connie Ferrigno, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2024 at the age of 91. She was born on November 14, 1932 in Queens, NY and grew up with a boundless spirit that touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. Connie was known for her warmth, kindness, and infectious laughter. She had a gift for making others feel special and was always there with a listening ear, a comforting word, or a helping hand. Her love for her family and friends was immeasurable, and she took great joy in bringing people together, whether it was for a family gathering, holiday celebration, or just a simple visit. She is survived by her brother Anthony Altieri Jr, nephew Anthony J. Altieri III (Joanne) and great-nieces, Kaitlyn Hamilton (Jeff), Paige Altieri, and Jaime Altieri. She was predeceased by her husband Matthew Ferrigno, parents Anthony and Josephine Altieri, and sister-in-law, Terese Altieri. A celebration of Connie’s life will be held on August 24, 2024 at the Church of St. Paul the Apostle, 2534 Cedar Swamp Road, Glen Head, NY, with a mass beginning at 10am. The entombment will immediately follow and be held at the Cemetery of the Holy Rood, 111 Old Country Road, Westbury, NY. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday August 23, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Church of St. Paul the Apostle, 2534 Cedar Swamp Rd, Glen Head, NY, Entombment to follow at 11:30 A.M. at Cemetery of the Holy Rood, 111 Old Country Rd, Westbury, NY.
