Obituary of David Paul Bowman

"Big Dave" died after a 3 year battle with pulmonary fibrosis at his home in Dania Beach, Florida, on December 15, 2024 at the age of 74, with his wife at his side. He is survived by his wife Susan Bowman, and brothers: James and John, and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents Barclay and Helen Bowman. Dave was the kindest, most caring person I know, and now our family has a huge void in our hearts that will be impossible to fill. But inside this void are the hundreds of memories of the good deeds and happy times he gave to us all. We will miss him but Big Dave will never be forgotten. He gave us a lifetime of love and happiness and I am forever grateful to have been a part of his life. A "Celebration of Life" gathering will be held on February 1st from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Estates of Fort Lauderdale Clubhouse in the Monte Carlo Room.
