Obituary of Joseph Anthony Colombo

COLOMBO Joseph Anthony Colombo 70 of Hollywood, Florida passed away Monday March 27, 2017. A native of New York, Joe was born on August 30, l946 to his loving parents Mary and Fred Colombo. Beloved husband of Sherril Boudwin Colombo of 31 years. Devoted father of Giada Sally Colombo and Tony Colombo and Grandfather of Karson Colombo. Dearest Brother of Rosemarie Colombo Cake, Joann Colombo and Angela Johnston. Joe was a resident of South Florida since l984; formerly of Seattle, Washington and Long Island, New York. Joe enjoyed a successful career in the restaurant business that began when he was a young boy in Long Island, New York where he worked in his family’s restaurant, known as Sorrento’s. He enjoyed playing tennis, riding his motorcycle, watching football and Formula One races; and most of all he enjoyed watching his daughter ice skate and taking her to the movies. A memorial Mass will be held Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 1:00 P.M at St. Matthews Catholic Church 542 Blue Heron Drive, Hallandale Beach, Florida.
